I had a wonderful night last Night at the Annapolis Christian Academy Fiesta fund raiser. The weather was perfect and the event was one of the smoothest run events I have had the privilege of being a part of. I have to say the proudest part of the evening came for me when they announced the winners of the raffle ticket sale. My sixth grade son Oliver and my Fifth grade daughter won as top sales in each of there classes and over all top sales. I know how much hard work and sacrifice they made by giving up a weekend of spring break to work for this contest. They each won a week of casual dress at school ( a big deal to kids when you wear uniforms every day). They also won the grand prize of an XBOX !
It was the first of many events that Annapolis will host now that they have found a permanent home. We have so much to be thankful for. Annapolis is a school and group of families that will be a continuing light of hope and education for the Corpus Christi area and the Great State of Texas.
