Do you think it was right to tell them not to brush?

Send away the kids for one week to Grandparents and they come back funny lookin'. The kids went to see my dad in Desoto, Texas and they had a wonderful week.

The Dove were abundant opening morning South Texas.

Yes the mighty dove were flying in great abundance in Beeville Texas Saturday morning. The weather was perfect and my son Oliver was with me. We hunted with my wife's cousin's Jay & Clay Lambert. They brought their son's also. The morning sky was a buzz with dove flying high and you could hear shots being fired from every direction in the surrounding areas. Made for and easy opening morning to bag a limit. Fun was had by all and next year Oliver wants to come back.

Burningman My First Blog Post

This event was so fantastic, surreal, mind opening. It is one of those events that I can only experience and not really describe to anyone because it was on such a personal level for me. I met a man in a Trojan suit at the burn that put the experience into one sentence that will be with me forever. " This is the only place I have ever been that people are urgently trying, from the moment they arrive, to be kind to one another". I will attend this event again and will invite others. I will never forget standing under the cafe tent in the middle of my first dust storm watching a fashion show, going to get a lemonade to wet my throat and while standing in line dusty and hot, being generously offered an ice cold piece of Hershey's miniature chocolate bar. I think that after speaking with the people who had been to the burn before that I can appreciate the great attention and detail that has gone into making the city streets and areas flow with what seemed to be the right amount of room for traffic. I could not believe my eyes about how beautiful a community this was with what seemed to be zero trash on the ground. The staff was always helpful to me since I was a first time attendee I had some questions to ask out of curiosity. The Burningman experience is definitely in my top 5 of my life. I look forward to seeing what the regional burn for Texas will be like. Keep up the effort to improve it seems to be working for the betterment of this community already!
